Keytune is a unique typing tutor that teaches touch typing through music. Each key on your keyboard is mapped to a note from the Indian Sargam scale, so when you type, you create music. This makes learning to type more engaging and fun.
Not at all! KeyTune is designed for everyone, regardless of musical background. The app teaches you typing skills while naturally introducing you to musical concepts. No prior knowledge of music or the harmonium is required.
Currently, Keytune supports QWERTY keyboard layouts. We plan to add support for Dvorak and Colemak layouts in future updates.
KeyTune is optimized for desktop and laptop computers with physical keyboards. While you can access the app on mobile devices, the full typing experience requires a physical keyboard.
The Free plan includes basic lessons, limited songs, and access to Free Play mode. Plus unlocks more lessons, songs, and multiplayer features. Pro gives you unlimited access to all content, advanced analytics, priority support, and exclusive challenges.
Yes! You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. You'll continue to have access to premium features until the end of your billing period.
Your streak counts consecutive days of practice. Complete at least one lesson or practice session each day to maintain your streak. Streak shields (available to Plus and Pro users) protect your streak if you miss a day.
Yes! When you're signed in, your progress syncs across all devices. You can start a lesson on your desktop and continue on your laptop seamlessly.
Duet mode lets you practice with a friend in real-time, while Battle Rooms allow 2-4 players to compete. You can create private rooms with codes or use quick match to find other players.
The Note Map is an interactive reference that shows you which keys correspond to which musical notes. It's a great tool for exploring the keyboard and understanding the musical layout.
